A Note From The Artist

Red Painting Project is to help expose the need to know that many people deal with depression and cutting. It maybe themselves or someone close to them like a family member, roommate, boyfriend, girlfriend or close friend. Depression can come in a season of someone's life or something one must fight for life. It is much easier to fight if one has support and encouragement from others to find help. Help comes through with counseling, doctors, medicine... I am only an artist who has known many, many people who have in some form or another gone through this process for seasons and for a lifetime. The links I have listed are mostly just a few of the many you can find in a google search. To Write Love On Her Arms has become a wonderful organization spreading the word about depression and cutting. Your own family doctor is a good place to start, as well as searching on-line. Do get help for yourself and those you know - life is short.
